Veteran Supercross and Motocross rider Davi Millsaps has resigned with the Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX Team for the 2012 racing season. Davi has won nine amateur national MX titles, a Lites Supercross Championship, wins in the premier class, along with numerous podium finishes, will join James Stewart in completing the 2012 Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX Team.
Coy Gibbs, President of the Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX Team said "Davi is really talented, but has been saddled with injuries the past couple of years. I think this is going to be a really good year for him".
Team Manager Jeremy Albrecht said "I am glad Davi chose to remain in the Joe Gibbs Racing family, he was riding really well until his knee injury at Red Bud where he led half the first moto. He is fully recovered from the subsequent surgery and I feel is as prepared as he has ever been starting a new season".
Davi himself says "I have a lot of confidence in the people who make up this team, and my Yamaha is really dialed in year. With my fitness where it should be I think we are going to have the strongest team out there".
